Oh Harry

It was back in 1992 that fourteen year old Harriet Ohlsson realized she wanted to be a story teller. Not exactly sure of how this would happen, she tried theatre, learnt how to play the oboe, the flute, the double bass and for a long time

the saxophone was her main instrument.

For several years she toured all over Sweden with the klezmerband Chutzpah, started a couple of different bands and ended up at the Academy of Music studying Balkan music. Outside school she began to sing and eventually this turned out to be her greatest joy and main occupation.

For five years, from 2004 through 2009, she interpreted the story of metal music as lead singer and arranger with Hellsongs, the lounge metal band.

In 2010 this is what Harriet Ohlsson sounds like, telling her own stories. Her act is OH, HARRY and the title of her solo album is Arena Rock.
