Ale Möller Band
Ale Möller Band with its world musicians have toured both Sweden and the
rest of the world.
The highlights of the Grammy award winning album “Bodial” (2004) were
accompanied by new material written on stage, in rehearsals and in hotel
rooms. By fall 2006 the band had new material enough to fill the new album
“Djef Djel”, which was recorded in the Atlantis Studio in Stockholm
(2007).
As oppose to “Bodjal” with all its guest appearances ( Shipra Nandy, Kurash Sultan, Jonas Knutsson and Mats
Öberg), “Djef Djel” is focused on the musicianship of the six members of the band.
The mainline is as always the encounter between music and musicians from different cultures and traditions.
Together with the vocal harmonies from Maria Stella and Mamadou Sene, conductor Möller weaves Magnus
Stinnerboms violins and strings around the hub of bass and rhythms derived from Rafael Sida and Sebastian
Dubé. Möllers highly varied arsenal of instruments creates the unique and homogeneous sound that truly
defines Ale Möller Band.
